Here at ZFX, we believe in giving back to education. For most of us, education of some sort has gotten us where we are today. Whether it’s going to a university or learning from an experienced mentor, we believe in passing on our knowledge and experiences to the next generation. It is for this reason that we offer a variety of classes and workshops all year round.
Flying First Class Workshop
In this Workshop, we’ll be flying high, giving each person an understanding of this wildly diverse medium being utilized in a myriad of shows from Broadway to universities, and throughout the live entertainment world today. Technicians and performers alike will benefit from this workshop as flying touches numerous aspects of theatre. Two dates are offered for our one-of-a-kind Flying First Class Workshop. Open Workshops
Taking place in our newly renovated DOJO in Downtown Louisville, KY, the purpose of these workshops is to give those interested in ZFX and theatrical flying effects hands on experience and a thorough understanding of the operational and performance aspects of flying. We offer these 3-4 day workshops year round, so keep an eye out for the next one if you interested. These workshops are available to anyone (over the age of 18) genuinely interested in learning the art of flying and safety that comes along with aerial effects.
Master Classes
We also offer on location Master Classes with instruction from our world-renowned Flying Directors. These classes combine education with implementation which allows you to tap into additional budget resources to achieve your instruction and production goals. Whether we are already on location with you for your production, or you are just interested in offering your students a more well-rounded grasp of technical and performance theatre, we offer a full curriculum. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in taking your students education to “new heights”.
Personalized Workshops
Because ZFX has an in our rehearsal studio, fondly named “The DOJO”, we can also offer in house workshops and master classes for clients interested in giving their students an out of classroom experience. Similar to our master classes, our Flying Directors are able to work with you to create that ideal and educational experience you have for your students.
